East Brunswick Public Library Workers Ratify First Contract

In December 2024, after nearly a year of negotiating, CWA Local 1031 members at the East Brunswick Public Library in East Brunswick, N.J., ratified a first contract. In the end, however, workers won a fair contract including holiday pay and provisions for part-time workers to be paid in the event of unforeseen library closures.
